Motion by Mike Cygeirt, supported by Rhett Sease to approve minutes of January 20, 2015 as presented. Motion carried.

Alan & Tammy Jager’s business – Press’s LLC
Chair, Val Jensen did research on the Special Use Permit for Press’s LLC salvage business and was unable to find any written documentation in permits or past minutes indicating salvage business was approved in commercial district. Chair Val Jensen reviewed policies and laws concerning said business.
Alan Jager indicated there were no hazardeous materials on site and all trash is disposed of at dump. Business recycles and stores metal only.

In order to proceed with Special Use Permit, Chair Val Jensen moved to table decision until the May 19, 2015 meeting to give committee more time to gather more information. Val to visit with Supervisor, Mick Noble and get written statements from past Planning Commission members . Once this is done, Special Use Permit can be issued and hearing set.
Review “uses by Special Permit” language – will address at May meeting when all members have their updated policy manuals.
Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 7:05 p.m.
