MAINTENANCE/CUSTODIAL SUPERVISOR

This full time position reports to the Township Supervisor and Cemetery Supervisor.

The job requires various duties including, but not limited to:
-General maintenance on Township buildings and equipment for the Hall, Library,

  Parks, DPW, Transfer Station and Cemetery              
-Snow plowing and shoveling
-Lawn mowing, trimming, raking, etc.

-Cemetery burials
-Custodial duties for the Hall and Library

-Various duties at the Township Park
-Transfer Station backup

-Other duties as assigned
-Knowledge of operating Township equipment
-Work independently
-Possess good communication skills
-Work some weekends
-Have a valid Michigan driver’s license

SEASONAL WORKER

Holton Township is taking applications for a part time (20 hours a week) seasonal employee. Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. The job consists of mowing, tree branch removal, leaf raking, weed whacking, and general maintenance of Oakwood Cemetery in Holton Township.  Occasional work on Saturdays for tire collection events and Holton Days.
