BOARD MEETING MINUTES – MARCH 10, 2026
Meeting: Called to order at 7:00 pm by Supervisor Jager
Pledge of Allegiance: Led by Trustee Brant
Roll call by Clerk Murat: Trustee Brant, Treasurer Halbower, Supervisor Jager, Trustee Jager, Clerk Murat, all present.
Motion 1-3-26 by Trustee Jager to approve February 10th, 2026, meeting minutes, support by Trustee Brant, Motion carries.
Motion 2-3-26 by Trustee Jager to approve payment of the bills as presented, support by Clerk Murat. Motion carries.
Business from the floor:
None
Motion 3-3-26 by Trustee Jager to approve Treasurer’s report as presented, support by Clerk Murat. Motion carries.
Department reports:
Inspections- 2 new permits for a total of $430.00
Fire Department- 22 calls. 2 mutual aids
Ordinance- 7856 Holton Rd, letter sent to homeowner regarding possible persons living in camper parked in the front yard. Also blight on property that needs to be cleaned up. *Feb 6th drive by shows camper is gone.

Free Dump Day will be held on May 9th, flyer attached.

None.
Motion 4-3-26 by Trustee Jager to hire Chloe McKee to the Fire Department as a probationary firefighter after her 18th birthday, support by Trustee Brant. Motion carries
Motion 5-3-26 by Trustee Brant to close Holton Duck Lake Rd from Holton Whitehall Rd to 3rd St and Hoppman from Holton Duck Lake Rd to M120 starting Friday July 24th at noon for 48hrs until Sunday July 26th at noon, support by Trustee Jager.
Roll call vote: Clerk Murat, Yes. Trustee Jager, Yes. Supervisor Jager, Yes. Treasurer Halbower, Yes. Trustee Brant, Yes. Motion carries.
Motion 6-3-26 by Treasurer Halbower to approve Justin Hiles as a Member of the Board of Review, support by Trustee Jager. Motion carries.

NO U-HAUL TYPE TRUCKS WILL BE ALLOWED
The following items will NOT be accepted: Tires, hazardous wastes, leaves, brush, grass clippings, demolition materials (including wood), refrigerators with Freon, and gas propane tanks. The Transfer Station Attendant reserves the right to reject the dumping of any other items.
Containers will be available to dispose of electronic waste such as LCD, LED, and plasma TV’s and monitors, computers, cell phones, audio/video equipment, printers, fax machines, radios, speakers, cameras, cables, etc…
