Review of minutes:

120114 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the November 10, 2015 minutes as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

120214 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the November 24, 2015 Special Meeting minutes as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Review of Bills:

120315 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to pay the bills as presented. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Business from the Floor: Mr. Jeff Lohman, Muskegon County Commissioner talked about County budget issues. Also talked about various County issues.

Treasurer’s Report:

120415 Trustee Jager made the motion to accept the treasurers report as presented. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Department Reports:

Fire Chief Stevens reported for the month of November. Total man hours 154.5 hours. Expenses for the 206 account were $11,404.71 which is currently 12% under budget. The 216 account had zero expenses.

Art requested permission to purchase LED update kits for the flood, spot lights, and a vehicle mount light system for the fire trucks. The spot light kits cost $43.95 each, the flood light kits cost 58.95 each, and the vehicle mount kit costs $145.95. Total cost will be $454.65 plus shipping.

120515 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to allow Art to purchase the light update kits for the fire trucks. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Correspondence: Letter from Ralph Askam, MD regarding the amount of taxes he pays on his property and the seasonal road his property is on, and the state of the road. He requests that some of his tax dollars be used to repair the road.

Unfinished Business: None

New Business: There is a pine tree that is deteriorating to the point that it could cause damage and should be removed. Bids for this: Acme Tree – $1300, Dale’s Tree Service – $1300, Josh Anderson tree service – $1700. We have used Acme in the past and been pleased with their work.

120615 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to hire Acme to remove the tree at the cost of $1300. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.
