Review of minutes:

020115 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the January 13, 2015 minutes as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Review of Bills:

020215 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to pay the bills as presented. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Treasurer’s Report:

020315 Clerk Johnson made the motion to accept the treasurers report as presented. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Department Reports:

Fire Chief Stevens reported for the month of January. Total man hours 188.5 hours.
Expenses for the 206 account were $4,018.15 and is currently 13% under budget. The 216 account had $0 expenses and is 50% under budget.

Art requests permission to attend the 2 day Winter Fire Chief Training Conference in Midland at a cost of $207.90 for room, and $160.00 for the registration for a total cost of $367.90

020415 Trustee Jager made a motion to allow Art to attend the Winter Conference in Midland at a
Cost of $367.90. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED. Art explained about the matching grant that the Fire Department was awarded of $2180.00 with a Fire Department match. With the grant Art would like to purchase 3 Garmin GPS at $449.99 each, 3 handheld weather stations for $154 each, and 3 multi gas detectors for $670 each. Our share of the match would be $1910.99 and total cost would be $3821.90.

020515 Clerk Johnson made the motion to allow Art to purchase 3 of each – Garmin GPS, handheld weather stations, and multi gas detectors with the matching DNR grant with the township share cost of $1910.99 and total cost would be $3821.90. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Art would like to purchase an imaging camera. They have looked at a few and have narrowed two to pick from.
An ISG at a cost of $9375, and an Argus which costs $7115. The ISG has more of the features that would be useful.

Resolution to close streets for Holton Days.

020815 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to adopt the resolution to close the roads for Holton Days.
