Review of minutes:

020118 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the minutes as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Review of Bills:

020218 Trustee Jager made the motion to pay the bills as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Business from the Floor: Julie Vanderboegh, Library commented that there are good programming events going on monthly at the Library.

Gary Foster, Muskegon County Commissioner said that if anyone had any questions he was available.

Discussion of the Wilsie Drain issue.

Audit presentation by Joe Verlin for budget year ending 6/30/2017.

Treasurer’s Report:

020318 Trustee Jager made the motion to accept the treasurer’s report as presented. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Written Zoning report.

Department Reports: Fire Chief Hawk reported total man-hours of 306.5 for January. Expenses for the 206 account were $11,635.85 which is currently 8% under budget. 216 account had 0 expenses.

Correspondence: Meeting coming up on the Wilsie Drain.

New Business: Bids for New Fire Truck: Four bid requests were sent out and 2 bids were sent in:

Alexis – $373,198 and Spencer $389,956. Marc is recommending we accept the Spencer bid because

of the measurements given in the bid. Also materials and options plus the truck is made in Michigan.

SCBA mask repair and resize: To fit properly 5 of the masks need to be resized and retested:

020518 Trustee Jager made the motion to allow the resizing and retesting of 5 SCBA masks at a cost of $1298. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Projector: Marc has 3 bids for projectors – all are $299.99 – recommend purchase from Quill.

020618 Trustee Jager made the motion to purchase a project from Quill at a cost of $299.99. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Porta Fit tester: Used to test the fit of SCBA mask and required to be done annually. Group purchase

with Area Fire Chiefs. Machine cost is $19,000 – shared cost $1,500 each department.

Future Business: Mass mailing regarding township drains.
