Review of minutes:

020116 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the January 12, 2016 minutes as written. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

020216 Treasurer Halbower made a motion to accept the February 03, 2016 minutes as written. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Review of Bills:

020316 Trustee Jager made the motion to pay the bills as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Business from the Floor: Jeff Lohman, County Commissioner talked about the Quality of Life Mileage.

Treasurer’s Report:

020416 Trustee Jager made the motion to accept the treasurers report as presented. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Department Reports:

Fire Chief Stevens reported for the month of January. Total man hours 308 hours. Expenses for the 206 account were $8589.27 which is currently 20% under budget. The 216 account had zero expenses and is 50% under budget.

Unfinished Business: Holton Township Building Official Job Description. This is a required position.

020516 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to approve the job description for the Building

Official Position. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

New Business: Ron Stitt resignation

020616 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to accept Ron’s resignation as Building Inspector effective immediately with regret. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Park Caretaker Agreement – it was suggested we change the term from one year to two years.

020716 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to approve the contract with Jason Kittel with

the term changed to two years. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Free dump day – May 14th was suggested.

020816 Clerk Johnson made the motion to approve May 14, 2016 for free dump day. Trustee Jager seconded. CARRIED.

Hiring of Building Official – Mick recommended Jerry McIntyre for Building Official at $200 per month.

020916 Trustee Jager made the motion hire Jerry McIntyre as Building Official. Treasurer

Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Holton Days Road Closure Resolution

021016 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to approve the Resolution for closing the road

for Holton Days. Trustee Jager seconded. ROLL CALL VOTE: Trustee Jager – YES,

Clerk Johnson – YES, Supervisor Noble – YES, Treasurer Halbower – YES, Trustee

Wilson – ABSENT. APPROVED.

Look at the Procedure Policy for Inspection Violations further – clarification needed.

Light for Treasurer’s office – approximately $100

021116 Trustee Jager made the motion to allow the purchase of a new light for above

the treasurer’s desk at approximately $100. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Point of information : Holly Hughes will be her Feb. 22 for an open session. 11am-12pm.

Mick is working on finding someone to fill the Building Inspector position.
