070117 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the June 13, 2017 regular board minutes as presented. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

070217 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the June 13, 2017 budget hearing minutes as presented. Trustee Schroeder seconded. CARRIED.

Review of Bills:

070317 Treasurer Halbower made the motion to pay the bills as presented. Trustee Schroeder seconded. CARRIED.

Business from the Floor: Julie Vanderbough, Librarian reported that the library looks nice after being cleaned. The painting isn’t finished yet. Volunteers are planting flowers in the flower boxes.

Treasurer’s Report:

070417 Trustee Jager made the motion to accept the treasurers report as presented. Trustee Schroeder seconded. CARRIED.

Department Reports: Fire Chief Hawk reported total man-hours of 371 for June. Expenses for the 206 account were $21,6597.54 which is currently 3% under budget.

Marc has 3 bids for new helmets: 5 Alarm – $5994, Allied – $7144.79, Sheridan – $8253.55

070517 Trustee Jager made the motion to allow the purchase of 25 helmets from 5 Alarm for a total of $5994 plus shipping & handling. Trustee Schroeder seconded. CARRIED.

No Correspondence: Letter from Transfer Station Attendant about a woman who refused to pay.

No Unfinished Business: Fire Department escorts – postponed.
Sealed bids for the Township truck – we received 5 bids: M Wildfong – $2501.51, W Fredricks – $2076, H Cunningham – $1765, G Branham -$1601, L Gagnon – $1500, H Cunningham – $1900

New Business: Trees at cemetery – there are 4 trees that are dead and diseased that need to be removed. There is one bid from Acme for $1500.

070617 Trustee Jager made the motion to hire Acme to take down, clean up, and remove the diseased trees at the cemetery for $1500. Clerk Johnson seconded. CARRIED.

Future Business: Discussion of possible road repairs and costs.
Alan has a bid from Ken Hulka for chip and seal on Brunswick Road from Holton Duck Lake to Schow. for $25,000, our share would be $12,500.

070717 Trustee Jager made the motion to do the chip & seal on Brunswick Rd with the Township share being $12,500. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.
