Review of minutes:

070116 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the June 14, 2016 Board minutes as presented. Trustee Wilson seconded. CARRIED.

070216 Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the June 15, 2016 Budget Hearing minutes as presented. Trustee Wilson seconded. CARRIED.

Review of Bills:

070316 Trustee Wilson made the motion to pay the bills as presented. Supervisor Noble seconded. CARRIED.

Business from the Floor: Mr. Don Rohlck – Round Lake, Zoning Administrator complimented the board. He enjoys his job as Zoning Administrator – he enjoys meeting people and helping them.
Mr. Jeff Lohman, County Commissioner talked about the Blight program. Mr. Al Jager said that this program is cutting small businesses out of this. He also talked about the Solar Wind Project and the County budget issues.

Treasurer Halbower arrived at 7:10pm.

Treasurer’s Report:

070416 Trustee Jager made the motion to accept the treasurers report as presented. Trustee Wilson seconded. CARRIED.

Department Reports: Fire Chief Stevens reported total man-hours of 276.5 for June.
Expenses for the 206 account were $26,501.62 which is currently 47% under budget. The 216 account had zero expenses.

New Business: Transfer Location of Liquor license – no action.

Board Meeting dates for 2016-2017 – 7/12/16, 8/9/16, 9/13/16, 10/11/16,11/8/16 – held at Library due to
November General Election, 12/13/16, 1/10/17, 2/14/17, 3/13/17, 4/11/17, 5/9/17, and 6/13/17.

070516 Trustee Jager made the motion to adopt the above meeting dates. Trustee Wilson seconded. CARRIED

Application to hardest hit blight elimination program. There are some requirements that need to be done to
participate in the program. Such as – it has to a residential property, it must be vacated, the Township must
Have started taking action such as condemnation of the property. Discussion of the value of this program to the Township and whether we should participate.

070616 Clerk Johnson made the motion to participate and support the Blight Elimination Program. Treasurer Halbower seconded. CARRIED.

Planning Commission – possible revisions on some ordinances were given to the board members to review. The Planning Commission will set up a Public Hearing and then send the revisions to the Board for approval.
