Business from the Floor:  Mr. D. J. Hilson introduced himself as a candidate for Muskegon County Prosecutor, and

talked a little bit about his work history with the prosecutor’s office and organizations he is involved with.  Mr. Ken Schaub, Board of Review Chairman – talked about suggestions for the asset test for the board of review.

 060612                    Treasurer Halbower made the motion to approve amendments to the 2012 fiscal year budget.

                                Trustee Wilson seconded.  CARRIED.

Secretary pay increase:  Mick has done Angela’s evaluation of her first 6 months as secretary and she is doing an excellent job.  He is recommending a 50 cent per hour pay increase effective June 13, 2012 to the new pay rate of $10.50 per hour.

 060712                    Treasurer Halbower made the motion to increase Angela’s pay 50 cents an hour to the newrate of $10.50.  Trustee Wilson seconded.  CARRIED.

The annual budget hearing is scheduled for June 20, 2012 at 7 p.m.

Cemetery Sprayer:  It is hard to tell where the road is, so Marc has checked quotes for a sprayer for the cemetery.

He has found one online for $199.99, with 2 ½ gallon of chemical.  It is a 25 gallon pull behind with a boom that is road width.

 Fire Chief Stevens came in and explained the budget amendment for the 216.000 account.  He would like to move $8000

out of the fund balance and increase the 216 budget for fiscal year 2012.

 060912                    Trustee Wilson made the motion to move $8000 from the fund balance and increase the 216.000 account.  Clerk Johnson seconded.  CARRIED.

Art reported May total man hours 337.  Expenses for the 206 account were $6961.38 and it is 77% of budget.  Expenses for the 216 account were $0 and it is  95% of budget.

Art would like to add 3 probationary fire fighters.  Kyle Portel, Alan Busch, and Robert Sampson.
