• Meeting called to order at 6:05 pm at the Holton Township Hall, 6511 Holton Whitehall Road.
• Roll Call: Treasurer Halbower, absent; Trustee Jager, present; Supervisor Jager, present; Clerk Hippler, present; Trustee Schroeder, present.
• Pledge given by all present.
• Truth in Taxation: The number of mills to be levied is 3.7708 to support the proposed budget and will be the subject of this hearing. (Breakdown of mills: 1.0930 for Township and 2.6778 for Fire Department).
• RESOLUTION 06012020 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the Resolution to Impose a Property Tax Administration Fee of 1%. Second by Trustee Schroeder. Roll Call Vote: Clerk Hippler-yes, Supervisor Jager-yes, Trustee Schroeder-yes, Trustee Jager-no, Treasurer Halbower-absent. APPROVED.
• 061020 Trustee Jager made a motion to appoint the Supervisor as the Township representative in real estate matters with action on all decisions requiring Board approval.  Second by Clerk Hippler. Roll Call Vote: Treasurer Halbower-absent, Clerk Hippler-yes, Trustee Jager-yes., Trustee Schroeder-yes, Supervisor Jager-yes. CARRIED.
• Salary Resolutions
  • RESOLUTION 06022020 Clerk Hippler made a motion to approve the resolution a 2% raise for the Treasurer. Second by Trustee Schroeder. Roll call vote: Trustee Jager-no, Trustee Schroeder-yes, Supervisor Jager-yes, Treasurer Halbower-absent, Clerk Hippler-yes. APPROVED
  • RESOLUTION 06032020 Trustee Schroeder made a motion to approve the resolution to issue a 2% raise to the Clerk. Second by Supervisor Jager. Roll call vote: Supervisor Jager-yes, Treasurer Halbower-absent Trustee Jager-no, Trustee Schroeder-yes, Clerk Hippler-abstained. APPROVED.
• 061120 Clerk Hippler Made a motion to accept the Fire Department 2020/2021 Fiscal Year Budget as presented. Second by Trustee Jager.  Trustee Jager noted a representative from the Fire Department was not able to be present at the meeting as they were exposed to COVID-19 on a call and were self-isolating. Roll call vote: Trustee Schroeder-yes, Trustee Jager-yes, Clerk Hippler-yes. Supervisor Jager-yes, Treasurer Halbower-absent, CARRIED.
• 061220 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the Holton Township Fiscal Year 2020/2021 Budget as presented. Second by Trustee Schroeder. Roll call vote: Supervisor Jager-yes, Trustee Schroeder-yes, Treasurer Halbower-absent, Clerk Hippler-yes, Trustee Jager-yes. CARRIED.
• 061320 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve adjustments to the 2019/2020 budget as proposed (see attachment 1). Second by Trustee Schroeder. Roll call vote: Trustee Jager-yes, Trustee Schroeder-yes, Treasurer Halbower-absent, Supervisor Jager-yes, Clerk Hippler-yes. CARRIED.
• 061420 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the 2020/2021 meeting dates with the correction of March 9, 2020 to March 9, 2021. Second by Trustee Schroeder. CARRIED.
• 061520 Trustee Jager made a motion to adjourn the Budget Hearing at 7:20 PM. Second by Trustee Schroeder. ADJOURNED.
