• The regular meeting of the Holton Township Board was called to order at 7:04 pm at the Holton Township Hall, 6511 Holton Whitehall Road.

  • 050121 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the April 2021 regular meeting minutes as presented. Second by Trustee Thompson. CARRIED.
  • 050221 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the May 11, 2021 special meeting minutes as presented. CARRIED.
• Payment of the Bills
  • 050321 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the payment of the April bills as presented. Second by Treasurer Halbower. CARRIED.

  • 050421 Trustee Jager made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. Second by Clerk Coburn. CARRIED.
• Department Reports
  • Zoning/Ord. Etc. $2,898.00 on permits.
  • Fire Department-
    • Fire Dept is up to 2-4 calls per day. Run numbers are up for the year. They are still remodeling office for the new 800 radio system. Will be lie for radio July 13 and testing June 14^th. Everyone will have to take a 8 hour class for the radio system. Hawk said that you to everyone that brought water and snacks up to canteen. 
  • Library-
    • MADL Library Board approved the remodel at Holton.
    • Library Friends will be holding a Book Sale during Holton Community Days, July 31, 9 am – 4 pm.
    • 2021 Summer Reading Club begins June 14-children-adults
    • MADL BookMobile will be here end of May.
    • Will have a Story Walk in Park starting July 26 through Holton Days.
    • Monthly Take it Make It kits popular item with our kids.
    • As of now Holton Days will resume. No events are planned for Friday. Trying to move Football Steak Fry to Friday.  Saturday is full of events. Sunday, Church service as usual. Book Club donated a quilt of Holton.  Raffle tickets will be $1.00 or 6 for $5.00.

  • Fire Department renewal/increase Resolution 05012021 was approved at the Holton Township Emergency Board meeting on May 11, 2021.
• 050521– Trustee Jager made a motion to accept Resolution 05022021, Brining Performance and Indemnification Resolution. Second by Treasurer Halbower. CARRIED

• 050621-Trustee Jager made a motion to accept BHS Insurance renewal policy. Second by Treasurer Bill. CARRIED.
• 050721-Clerk Coburn made a motion to accept $2,000 Clark Cemetery upkeep. Second by Treasurer Bill. CARRIED.
• 050821-Trustee Jager made a motion to accept Malinda Pego handing in the Senior Milleage to plow driveways. Second by Trustee Thompson. CARRIED. Was agreed May 25^th at 6:00 p.m.
• 050921- Trustee Jager made a motion to accept the Township Harassment Policy. Second by Clerk Coburn. CARRIED.
• 051021- Trustee Jager made a motion to approve EPS Security upgrade for compatibility with VIOP phone system-extra $20.00 month for library. Second by Trustee Thompson. CARRIED.
• 051121- Trustee Jager made a motion to approve Holton Township Militia Public Security Act Draft. Second by Supervisor Jager. CARRIED.
