Amendments to Agenda – None

Motion by Ken Schaub, supported by Mike Cygeirt to approve minutes of January 21, 2014 with correction (delete “and he approved it). Motion carried.

Discussion on police ordinance vs. Township ordinance. Chair, Tom West read to members the Zoning Principles and purpose from the “The Township Guide to Planning and Zoning” manual.

Ken Schaub presented document on proposed changes in penalty wording to our township ordinance. Will need action from Holton Township Board to make changes.

Motion by Bill Halbower, supported by Mike Cygeirt to present to Township Board penalty wording changes for consistency in zoning ordinance. Motion carried

Letter will be sent to Supervisor Noble, officers and trustees on wording change and requested action.

Bill Halbower suggested when changing or adding article/section numbers to ordinance, send to township clerk for updates.

Waiting on response on January 28, 2014 correspondence to attorney, Douglas Hughes.

Commissioners Comments:

Ken Schaub – Would like to see feedback on any changes in Special Use Permits. Give public an opportunity to express concerns if any.

Julie Vanderboegh – New laptop from Township for Planning Commission and other township uses.
