Planning Commission Meeting Minutes from November 6, 2013
Meeting called to order by chair, Tom West at 7:05 p.m.
Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Motion by Bill Halbower, supported by Mike Cygeirt to approve minutes of September 17, 2013 with correction. (Delete last sentence under Commissioner Comments) Motion carried,
Public Comments-None Unfinished Business –
Members discussed and reviewed penalty wording changes provided by Ken Schaub, Ken to write up and define changes in zoning ordinances and present to committee at January meeting.
Received correspondence from township attorney Doug Hughes on request to provide commission with a definition of “other uses similar in character to the above and not specifically listed.”
New Business –
The Holton Township Special Use Permits inventory has been completed. Township Board to take action on all Special Uses listed inventory.
Will discuss at next meeting the amending of Special Use Permit for the Retail Store/Wood Shop of David and Rosie Swarey due to increase of building size.

Motion by Mike Cygerit, supported By Rodney Dial to adjourn at 9:05 p.m. Motion carried.
A question was presented to the chairman as to how much additional build space was added to the special use site known as “Summit Truss Co”. The chairman indicated that he had inspected the property and all that was added was an office and the required bathroom, and he approved it.
